Aloha, I am Lauren Frederick, and I have a passion for helping others. I am currently in nursing school and have been involved in caregiving, volunteering, babysitting, and nannying for years, so it comes naturally to me. I am CPR and first aid certified, TB tested, fully vaccinated, background checked, and fingerprinted. I have extensive experience with individuals of all ages, from newborns to elders. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of those I work with. My prior experience includes a nursing clinical in an elderly care home, providing companionship in care homes during the holiday season, and participating in recreational and leisure activities with the residents. I have also worked in local schools with the non-profit organization Philosophy for Children, teaching special needs children, organizing summer camps, and serving as a peer assistant in a special education class for a year. Additionally, I have experience tutoring a kindergartner who had mental and physical disabilities due to brain cancer. My educational background in Philosophy, Psychology, Education, and Nursing contributes to my holistic perspective on the care I provide and helps me create a plan to care for each client in the most supportive way possible. My passion lies in providing care that ensures both the physical and emotional safety of individuals. My ultimate goal is to create a space for each of my clients to feel seen, heard, and loved. Thank you for the opportunity to care for your loved ones – mahalo!
