Aloha! My name is Mayra Puente. I was born and raised in Venezuela. I have been living in the USA for seven years, and I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I moved to Hawaii three years ago, and I really love this place.  In Venezuela, I studied a Bachelor of Science in Bioanalytical Chemistry at University of Los Andes, and I completed 150 credit hours. I’m in my thirties, and I’m the oldest of three children. My experience includes a lot of day care and babysitting for families. I like to take care of children and make them feel safe and protected, regardless of their behavior. Making them feel loved, respected, and protected is my philosophy as a caregiver.
