As much as I love art, I love people. Working as a teacher, nanny, and camp counselor, I always find joy in conversations with people. I am very enthusiastic about meeting new people and making new connections. Painting full time the past 4.5 years, I am confident my work ethic is one of my strongest attributes and I know the importance of a solid routine, always looking for more time to paint. Living in a smaller city like Duluth has taught me the importance of being an active member in my community. I have been working with kids for 17+ years. Four of those more recent I was a live-in nanny for a family in DC and a family in Oahu (both included full time new born experience). I worked as a summer camp counselor for a residential YMCA camp (ages 7-17 ) for 6 summers in Okoboji, Iowa. I have water, lifeguard and CPR experience and knowledge. Being in art school for almost 10 years allowed me to spend lots of summers with kids, including car pool nannying where I was in charge of several kids (for multiple families) called “Camp Cam.” I taught English in Italy at an Italian elementary school for 6 months (while attending art classes) and spent several years at the Great Lakes Academy of Fine Art teaching kids courses and drawing camps on weekends. I am currently a full time professional oil painter at a gallery in Waikiki and look forward to babysitting assignments when I can! I love meeting kids from all over the world and I always have an open mind, big imagination, creative games and art supplies!!!!
