GO CONFIDENTIALLY IN THE DIRECTION OF YOUR DREAMS; LIVE THE LIFE YOU’VE IMAGINED. – Henry Thoreau
We are thrilled to be offering the communities on Oahu a first-of-its-kind service for care providers (kahu)! Every client wants their kahu to keep as much of the funds they pay as possible, and that is exactly what we offer.
On Call Kupuna Care empowers women, working mothers, college students, retirees, minorities, immigrants, & others. By giving those who are intrinsically motivated to improve the wellbeing of others the opportunity to earn a higher income with a flexible schedule by working for themselves. The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is available to help you become your own business every step of the way.
We truly care about every individual. We believe when people give their gifts to each other, it amplifies the beauty of the islands. Our purpose, as a company, is to show our genuine goodwill for others through a daily practice of lifting others up to help them live their best life.

*A note to remember: A sole proprietor does not need to register as a business entity with the state of Hawaii, which saves $50. They would only need to fill out an application to receive a general excise tax form with a cost of $20. When completing the GET license application form look for a place that asks if you would like to have a DBA (doing business as). This is your opportunity to enter a name other than your own that you would like to present your business as to your clients. For example: Kathy Custer, DBA Senior Helpers. Make sure the business name you have in mind isn’t already in use by doing a name search.
