Aloha! My name is Tina Adams, and I go by Ms. Tina or Auntie Tina.

I have cared for children for over six years. My passion is working with children and I have extensive experience sitting, tutoring, and teaching children of all ages. I have been a non-conventional college student for some time, and obtained my Bachelor’s degree in General Business Administration from the University of Hawaii West Oahu this December.

I currently tutor elementary school-aged children in their homes in English and math. I am also fluent in Spanish, and enjoy speaking it whenever possible (hablo Espanol, y me encanta practicarlo!). My husband and I plan to move to Mexico someday where I would like to tutor children in English. While my husband was stationed in Korea for two years, I was a speaking teacher part-time at a Korean English School. I tutored a student in English and math after school at Osan Elementary for one school year. Additionally, I babysat two elementary school-aged kids before and after school for two single military moms; and babysat the base children as needed (date nights, mom’s days out, etc.) for the entire two years there.

I am a patient, loving, adventuresome caretaker, and my many children and parents have always been 100% satisfied with the care I’ve provided for their little ones. I believe children have so much potential and with the right guidance, they can reach the stars!
