Sarah Greenwood
Hi, I’m Sarah!
I’m in my thirties, a mother of two, and a psychology major at KCC. I’m currently working on my undergrad with the intention of transferring to UH. I want to focus on helping children with ADHD and other learning disorders, as well as their parents and educators, better understand their diagnosis, educational rights, and best practices to succeed in life. I currently work as a Registered Behavior Tech in behavioral support for children with autism and other intellectual disabilities. I love being able to make meaningful connections with kids and help them achieve their life goals.
Over the past 18 years, I have worked as a nanny for two different families, cared for my younger siblings, and babysat for friends, family and neighbors. I also grew up on a lake and worked as a lifeguard for two summers in high school, which has made me a very strong and confident swimmer. I’m very comfortable supervising water activities. My heart has a soft spot for kids of all ages, and I can make some pretty stellar animal noises and impressions. I love to sing, play ukulele, and find/create fun arts and crafts projects. We have been blessed to live in Hawaii and there are so many fun places to explore outdoors! Your trust is very important to me, and I understand that trusting someone with your children can be very difficult. My goal is to make you feel at ease leaving them in my care so you can focus on wherever life takes you while I am with them. I look forward to going above and beyond for you and your keiki!
