Sarah Franklin
Aloha! My name is Sarah! I have my bachelor degree in Natural Resource and Environmental Management from the University of Hawaii. I hope to one day work with kids as either an art teacher or a natural science teacher. I have a deep love and passion for both the environment and art, meaning my childcare style is to get the kids outside, playing games, running around and enjoying the day. And if the weather does not cooperate, getting creative with arts and crafts, coloring or teaching the kids to draw. I love to teach kids about the world around them, and see the excitement in their faces when they discover something new for themselves.
Growing up I had multiple small cousins that I would watch and play with, and into high school I began babysitting for friends and neighbors kids. I have multiple years of experience being a full time nanny for a family with two sets of twins, so I am accustomed to watching multiple children at once.
I also am a divemaster and worked for the University’s diving safety program. I am very comfortable in and around the water and I am CPR and first aid certified. I am creative, energetic, and love to create special moments and memories with the children in my care.
