Aloha my name is Rose, AKA Nana Rose as I have had 4 children and have 7 grandkids. I have taken seminars thru Patch and the Canoes registry on caring for children. I have many years experience as a Teachers Assistant for the special needs classrooms including Autism and those with medical needs. At Saint Patrick’s school for 1 year I did after-school care for kindergarten and 1st grade plus was a teachers Aide for the Pre-K class. Then I worked with 6,7,8th grade Special Education classes as well as being a sub for pre kindergarten to high schools. This past year I am a Special Education Assistant for the kindergarten, 1st, 2nd graders at Irving elementary. I also have many years experience in the medical field. I have a CPR/AED card and have EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) training. I have worked in various Doctors offices, clinics as well as school health offices. I worked as a Health Assistant for 2 school districts; the Honolulu school district and Mesa public schools. As far as babysitting goes…I have babysat for several families including a coworkers newborn for 1 full school year. I also worked for Curves gym for 6 months caring for infants to school age. My career aspiration is to continue teaching & taking care of children as it’s what I love to do. I enjoy crafts and am a very creative person, my hobbies are whale watching and interior design along with crafting. I love children. I treat all children as my own and am a conscientious, reliable person with a heart of gold and a gentle mannerism. Aloha Rose
