Nomi Eloise Ruiz
Aloha! My name is Nomi Ruiz. I grew up in San Diego, CA and I currently live here in Honolulu (Kaka’ako area) as I am a full-time student at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. I am a Human Development and Family Studies major and am minoring in Public Health. I aspire to be a Registered Nurse one day, so I plan on going to nursing school post-grad. I love working with and taking care of kids! Growing up with many little cousins and having nephews (and recently a niece!) has been so much fun and I really enjoy taking care of them. I have helped raise and essentially be a nanny to my 3 nephews (from infant to school-age), babysat for many families, and formerly, I was a preschool teacher’s assistant at a Kama’aina Kids preschool. Currently, I am focusing on school and just finished working as a summer program director for 2 high school programs in Washington DC. I enjoy the beach, surfing, being outside, arts & crafts! As an aspiring healthcare professional, I take a child’s safety and well-being very seriously and ensure your child is well taken care of. I look forward to working with you and to caring for your children. Mahalo!
