Nicole Pfeiffer
Aloha! My name is Nicole Pfeiffer. I am in my thirties, and I am originally from Long Island, New York. I have been living in Hawaii for five years and I currently live right outside of Waikiki. I have been babysitting since I was practically a kid myself, and I have worked with kids with Autism and other disabilities doing behavior therapy for eight years. I bring a wealth of knowledge in child behavior (Applied Behavior Analysis) and child development to my childcare. I am therefore comfortable working with children with a variety of disabilities. I currently nanny for three kids ages 1, 3, and 7, and I am looking for more babysitting opportunities to supplement my income. Right now I am working on a Masters in Social Work online through Western New Mexico University. My professional aspirations include becoming a parent coach (a life coach for parents!), developing my own parenting class curriculum, becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and practicing psychotherapy with adults. Outside of working with kids, I am a professional musician and I play around Oahu with my band, Trouble in Paradise. I sing and play ukulele. I enjoy all that nature has to offer and I am very passionate about Hawaii, its history, and its culture. I speak intermediate German and Spanish. I am an attentive and enthusiastic babysitter, and I love having fun! I call babysitting “mom practice” because all my life all I have truly wanted is to raise children, and I wish to foster/adopt at least four children in my lifetime. I hope to get to meet you and your family!
