Aloha! My name is Michelle McKinney and I am in my forties. I live in Waikiki and find it very convenient to be so close to the hotels for childcare. I am originally from Seattle, Washington but I came to Hawaii for college and it stole my heart. I have always had a love and passion for children and I recently decided to make childcare my full time job. I have babysat since I was 15 years old and worked as a camp counselor for 3 years. I also have been volunteering with Sunday school at my church for the last 5+ years. I have been promoted to lead Aloha Sitters group childcare events where I direct activities, supervise sitters, and create a loving, stimulating, and organized environment for the kids in our care. As a Lead I take charge of events with anywhere from 2-30 children in my care, as well as my team of Support Sitters. I handle the supplies and paperwork,  and follow an educational curriculum keeping the children engaged & entertained for the 1-3 day events. I am comfortable with kids of all ages. I take the responsibility of childcare and safety very seriously and understand the responsibility bestowed upon me. I am patient, loving, responsible and reliable. I look forward to working with you!
