Lauren Frederick
Aloha, my name is Lauren Frederick and I have a huge heart and love for life. I have been babysitting and nannying for children for nine years, so it comes like second nature to me. I am CPR and first aid certified, background checked and fingerprinted. I am also fully vaccinated. I have many hours of experience with newborns up to teenagers. I appreciate having the opportunity to contribute to each child and family I work with! My volunteer experience includes working at my church’s nursery for a year with the four year olds. I also volunteered throughout both middle school and high school with special needs children. During my seventh grade summer of middle school I volunteered and helped run a special needs summer camp. During high school I was a peer assistant in a special education class for a year along with tutoring a kindergartner who had mental and physical disabilities due to brain cancer.
I am new to Hawaii and am originally from Arizona. In Arizona I worked for a childcare company, nannied, and babysat for families. I completed two years of college and all of my nursing prerequisite courses at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. I am going to finish out my schooling at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in order to earn a Bachelor’s Science in Nursing degree. My passion is to help people heal so that they can accomplish their life’s purpose. I believe that life is way too short to not feel good and healthy. My goal is to become a pediatric nurse so that I can dedicate my life to helping kids become and stay healthy so that they can soak up every moment of “being kids.” I take every action I make to heart, and will be sure your children feel loved, heard, and nurtured as I care for them and manage your environment while you are away.
