As a retired professor and doctor of education (higher education) I have been caring for all aged children almost my entire life (my own included) and I am a young at heart, energetic and highly responsible and dependable babysitter.  I am also a trained early childhood educator and Montessori certified to teach all subjects from preK to 3rd grade so I am really organized and can tutor if needed. I volunteered at a model school in Thailand for a year teaching English as a second language and values education to children grades k-12. I am an avid ocean swimmer and certified to teach yoga as well as I sing and play a couple instruments (some piano, guitar and ukulele) and have taken and taught hula.  I am CPR/First aid trained for the past ten years (will be renewing this month) and also have outstanding references. I have my own transportation and can work on an on-call basis. I speak fluent French and a little bit of Hawaiian, Korean Chinese, Spanish, Italian- as a self-declared life-long learner I love immersing myself in all things cultural and staying active!
