Gina Pecchinenda
Hello, my name is Gina Sourelos and I hold a dual master degree in special education and general education. I am currently a special education teacher at an elementary school in Kapolei. I have over 6 years of experience, working with students of all ages and abilities. Alongside being a teacher, I have professionally tutored, as well as provided childcare services. I have experience taking care of children as young as 6 months old and as old as 8th grade. Along with being a professional, I am an older sister of 3 siblings. I understand how important it is to provide a safe and loving environment. Although I am a full time educator, I also babysit weekly as well as volunteer on a regular basis. My most special volunteering experience is with the Special Olympics. Helping students learn, grow and enjoy the little things in life is a passion of mine. As a resident of Hawaii, I love being around water and enjoying the outdoors. I grew up on a swim team and enjoy swimming for fun on a weekly basis. I love being in the sunshine, playing games and going on hikes! I am a very energetic and patient person. That being said, I can easily go with the flow and adjust to ensure each child is having a fun time! Since I have only resided in Hawaii for 2 years, I find myself in awe of the natural beauty and wanting to explore! I look forward to making unforgettable memories with you and your loved ones!
