Elizabeth Giron
Aloha! My name is Elizabeth and I am currently a student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa working towards a bachelors degree in Social Work. Since I can remember, I have had a passion for child care. Whether it was playing with younger cousins or pursuing a degree to improve the conditions of families and children in need, opportunities such as these have deepened my love and fascination of children. I have 5+ years of experience with kids in both volunteer church settings and close work with families whose schedules required an attentive, high-energy, and flexible nanny. I believe engagement and education of kiddos is a especially important, that is, after safety being the absolute priority. I have a passion for health and wellness, and enjoy exploring activities such as bike riding, swimming, cooking, and yoga. I have been a Girl Scout of America for 15+ years, having spent many of those years involved in fundraisers, volunteer work for homeless shelters, food banks, etc. All of these experiences have aided towards my future career and personal goals. I am very much looking forward to meeting you and your family!
