Hi! My name is Ashley Fukuda-Ruiz. I’m 28 years old. I was born on Oahu and have lived here my whole life. I have a Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) from the CDA National Credentialing Program. I also have many workshop training hours in various  ASK CORE areas of child development and I continue to take more workshops. In 12th grade I took an Early Education class and had an internship at The Early Education Center of Seagull Schools working with 4-5 year olds. After the internship they hired me as a afternoon aide/substitute. Now I am currently a full-time Assisstant Teacher at The Early Education Center of Seagull Schools and have been working there for over 10 years. I am the Assistant Teacher for the young 2’s – 3 year olds with 18 children in the class. I’m first aid and CPR certified and I’m a confident swimmer. I took swim classes at the age of 3 and love being in the water and at the beach. When I’m not working I enjoy reading, watching movies, and playing games with my 7 year old sister named Jessica. I also enjoy spending time and taking Jessica out to the beach, park, mall, other fun places, and doing fun activities (painting, arts and craft, etc.)
