Hi! My name is Alicia Paige. I am 22 years old and grew up on the island of Oahu. I have a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and I am BLS (CPR) certified through the American Heart Association. I love caring for children of all ages and finding things that may interest them such as music, art, hiking, going to the beach, etc. I have played soccer since I was nine and I go jogging regularly so I know I can keep up with energetic kids. I have a little sister who I grew up caring for and she was part of the reason I wanted to become a nurse caring for young children. I volunteered for my church in childcare and regularly watched kids during church services and Bible studies. I grew up with my mother speaking Japanese and even attended a Japanese school for a short period of time so I can understand and speak conversationally. Growing up in Hawaii, I learned to dance hula and I love going to the beach. I am often amazed at how quickly children can learn things and love to teach them as much as I can.
